       The link to the Evergreen Cemtery in Leadville no longer works. We seek info on a Confederate Solider; Charles Milburn – might there be any info available on his date of death, next of kin? Thinking he and James R. Milburn were brothers? Thank you. Michelle

       Thank you. I saw Charles W. Milburn listed being buried at the cemetery but he hasn’t a headstone so doesnt appear at this link. So I was curious to know how his burial there is known. Charles and his brother James R. Milburn were Surveyors for Lake County CO. Both from State of Maryland. Michelle

       I found an old newspaper reference to Decoration Day, wherein they cited who was buried & in which location within Evergreen. And in that article, among others, I read the names of both Charles W. Milburn, and his brother James R. Milburn buried there as Confederate Soldiers. Too, in another online newspaper article I found Charles’ date of death in a VERY short notice – his wife was 5 months pregnant when he died, their only child! Sad. So am all set. Thank you though!
